Your Responsibilities
In your role as a Senior Architect at Sainsbury's Tech, you will be pivotal in strategizing and outlining the technical roadmap for your areas of responsibility. Collaborating closely with various engineering teams, you will design and develop new products and services that align with the broader architectural vision. Your emphasis will be on crafting cloud-native solutions for intricate projects, refining existing components, and architecting new systems from the ground up. Working in tandem with Senior Engineering Managers, you will articulate and disseminate the technical architecture, roadmap, and strategy for your domains. Furthermore, you will guide teams within your sphere to prioritize and develop components that deliver maximum value while promoting the adoption of technology principles throughout your areas of influence. As a vital member of the architecture community of practice, you will share your insights, contribute innovative design concepts, and foster collaboration and creativity across teams. Success in this position necessitates a profound understanding of the technology landscape, staying abreast of industry and retail trends, applying contemporary engineering methodologies and cloud-native design principles, building trust and credibility, and achieving results with a focus on problem-solving and teamwork.

With your strong influencing and communication abilities, you can effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including product managers and engineering teams, to shape and deliver innovative solutions that align with the overall architectural vision.
