About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CLO Specialist, Portfolio Administration Expert to join our team at Prudential Financial. As a key member of our Fixed Income business, you will be responsible for providing support to our CLO business management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary on-site business management point of contact for activities related to our CLOs.
  • Oversee and manage all data attributes within our compliance application to ensure optimal support for CLO Analysts and Portfolio Managers.
  • Reconcile holdings and 50+ data attributes between our compliance application and the Trustee(s) data on a monthly basis.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to ensure all data is accurate and well-maintained.
  • Calculate and verify quarterly distribution payments made to Dryden CLO investors.
  • Perform Hypothetical Trade tests and manage the process with our internal Product Support team and Trustees daily.
  • Reconcile and investigate cash discrepancies with Trustees and internal operational teams.
  • Support fund launches by managing the process from Pricing to Closing date, including approval of Flow of Funds.
  • Test and validate new compliance models as per the CLO Indenture and provide feedback to the vendor, if needed.
  • Establish proper controls and create efficiencies to mitigate risk and improve processes.
  • Liaise with internal members (Operations, Analysts, Portfolio Managers, Technology) and external members (Trustees and Investors) to ensure proper service levels are achieved.
  • Develop an understanding of the Fixed Income trading business and use that knowledge to increase service levels.
Requirements
  • Degree in Economics, Finance, or Business preferred.
  • CLOs and/or Bank Loans experience.
  • Outstanding academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, and work experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, and ability to work within a team environment.
  • Willingness and desire to learn and teach others.
What We Offer
  • Strong knowledge of Excel; VBA a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Fixed Income products, investment strategies, and derivatives preferred.
