We are seeking a seasoned Portfolio Management professional to join our team at Pontoon Solutions as a Portfolio Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to work with a high-profile Energy Client to launch their new Portfolio Management function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Framework Development: Collaborate with the Portfolio Office team to refine, test, and implement processes related to Project, Programme, and Portfolio Management frameworks and standards.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure robust governance across portfolios, with a focus on Risk Management, Benefits Management, Resource Management, and Reporting.
- Process Improvement: Work on Pipeline and Demand Management, Prioritisation, and Sanctioning processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with various stakeholders, customers, and external partners to create a unified approach across teams.
- Training & Support: Develop and deliver training programs to guide colleagues on the use of existing frameworks, and provide hands-on support to teams to ensure best practices are adopted.
- Customer Partnership: Foster partnerships with central teams and other departments to deliver seamless project and portfolio management.
Requirements:
- Senior PMO Background: Extensive experience in a PMO role, ideally with exposure to portfolio-level management.
- Project/Programme Delivery Expertise: Strong understanding of project and programme delivery and governance.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build trust and confidence with a wide range of stakeholders and teams.
- Process-Oriented: Adept at creating, refining, and implementing standardized processes and frameworks.
- Training & Mentoring: Experience in training, mentoring, and guiding teams through process adoption.
