Role Overview:

The primary responsibility of this role is to execute assigned warehouse tasks to facilitate the efficient flow of inventory from receiving to dispatch, ensuring that store orders are prepared accurately and in compliance with quality and hygiene standards.

Work Schedule: 12 noon to 8pm, working any 5 days out of 7 each week, with at least one weekend off every four weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure that products are accurately received, stored, restocked, assembled, and dispatched according to company protocols. Achieve performance targets set by management regarding productivity, accuracy, punctuality, and attendance. Perform tasks while minimizing stock damage through proper handling and secure loading practices. Operate machinery once adequately trained. Safely move items using appropriate manual handling techniques. Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and professional appearance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Must be 16 years or older to apply. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial but not mandatory. A valid FLT or Reach Truck license is a plus but not required. Physical stamina and manual handling skills are essential for this demanding role. Understanding of Health & Safety regulations in a workplace setting. Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE). Strong attention to detail, aiming for maximum accuracy and productivity. Reliability and flexibility in attendance are crucial. Excellent teamwork abilities, along with the capacity to work independently. A strong work ethic is essential.
