Key Duties:

  • Deliver captivating and effective lessons to Year 3 pupils, adhering to the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive, stimulating, and secure learning atmosphere.
  • Evaluate, monitor, and report on the academic and social development of students.
  • Design and execute lesson plans that address the varied needs of the learners.
  • Encourage a culture of learning and curiosity, motivating students to achieve their utmost potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the broader school community.
  • Engage in school events, meetings, and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Applicants must possess QTS, having completed an accredited teacher training program.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a primary school environment, particularly within Key Stage 2, is preferred.
  • Curriculum Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Classroom Management: Strong classroom management abilities, capable of inspiring and engaging young learners.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Creativity and Innovation: A creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning.
  • Commitment to Professional Growth: A dedication to ongoing professional development and a willingness to contribute to the broader school community.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN): Background or training in supporting students with SEN.
  • Technological Skills: Proficiency in utilizing educational technology to enhance learning experiences.

All pay rates mentioned will include statutory holiday pay. This position may initially be temporary, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role later.
