Business Development Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales Executive to join our team at Biffa Biffa plc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base in the SME division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a pipeline of new business opportunities to deliver profitable revenue growth.
- Drive sales activities and processes to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual targets.
- Ensure Biffa stays ahead of the game with respect to service offering, business model, and operating methods.
- Liaise with Depot Manager, Regional General Manager, and Regional Commercial Manager to determine sales offensives within regions.
- Be the primary interface between Biffa and target customers.
- Responsible for sales prospecting and pricing negotiations.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in sales selling contracted services.
- Consistent overachiever of targets.
- History of overachievement in new business sales.
- Ability to travel.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong commercial background and awareness.
- Analytical and able to quickly assess issues and recommend solutions.
- Robust and resilient, able to absorb pressure and respond positively.
- Experience of building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Solid pragmatic approach to delivering to tight deadlines and targets.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize.
- Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
