Job Title: Credit Risk Manager

Aspire Data Recruitment is seeking a skilled Credit Risk Manager to join our client's Portfolio Management team in London.

The Role
  • Develop and improve existing management information of loan portfolios using advanced analytical tools.
  • Analyse investment proposals and present results to the bank's credit committee.
  • Assess financial data and structural risks in facility proposals from the investment team.
  • Support portfolio acquisition through due diligence, data analysis, and engagement with third parties.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and escalate trends in provisions, NPLs, and RWAs.
  • Develop and maintain credit risk strategies throughout the credit lifecycle.
  • Investigate data errors and work with colleagues to resolve issues.
  • Contribute to team objectives and lead activities as needed.
Your Experience
  • Experience in retail credit risk, including mortgages, loans, and cards.
  • Bachelor's degree or better and a strong interest in data analysis and programming.
  • Strong foundation in SQL, ETL, and databases.
  • Experience with at least one programming language and a willingness to learn Python.
  • Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively.
  • Banking experience preferred but not essential.
  • Fluency in one European language advantageous but not required.
