Position Overview

As part of their expansion, they are in search of a highly proficient Business Intelligence Analyst to become a vital member of their energetic team.

*This position is Outside IR35 and requires 3 days onsite*

Role Summary: The organization seeks an expert-level Business Intelligence Analyst with a strong background in data visualization and significant experience in the investment management sector. The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of investment metrics, the capability to convert intricate data sets into actionable insights, and a proven history of producing impactful visual reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and sustain advanced Business Intelligence dashboards and reports customized to investment management requirements.
  • Work closely with investment teams to comprehend data needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Convert complex data sets into clear, engaging visual narratives that facilitate strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure the integrity and precision of all visualizations and reports.
  • Keep abreast of the latest Business Intelligence features and best practices to enhance data visualization capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Expert-level knowledge in Business Intelligence tools, including DAX, Power Query, and custom visual development.
  • Extensive experience in data visualization, with a portfolio demonstrating the ability to transform data into compelling visualizations.
  • Prior experience in an investment management context, with a solid grasp of investment metrics and reporting standards.
  • Proficient in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex data insights to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with additional data visualization tools such as Tableau or Qlik.
  • Understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques utilized in investment management.
  • Knowledge of SQL, R, or Python for data analysis and automation.
