Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and organized Dental Nurse to oversee, train, and support our team of dental nurses. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining excellent infection prevention and control standards, working with nurses to undertake and oversee audits, and ensuring compliance with CQC, HTM-01-05, and GDC standards.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and support a team of dental nurses
- Maintain excellent infection prevention and control standards
- Work with nurses to undertake and oversee audits
- Ensure compliance with CQC, HTM-01-05, and GDC standards
- Assist with the supervision of trainee dental nurses
- Assist the dentist with note writing, treatment planning, and computer-based work
- Maintain and control stock, equipment, and materials
- Typing of referral letters and general administration
- Compile and maintain the nurses' rota
- 1 year of experience in dental nursing (preferred)
- Valid GDC registration (preferred)
