Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire foundational industry knowledge and an understanding of industry challenges.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and teamwork capabilities.
  • Manage personal workload effectively, keeping supervisors informed of project status.
  • Demonstrate the ability to receive project briefings and execute tasks proficiently.
  • Assist in planning and managing a variety of projects across promotional and medical communications, including but not limited to:

- Event coordination and planning (including supplier liaison, faculty management, venue arrangements, travel bookings, and delegate management).

- Development of communication strategies and internal training programs.

- Creation of content and creative concepts (e.g., presentation materials for conferences, advisory boards, standalone meetings; scientific presentations; creative campaigns; promotional and medical materials).

- Development of patient advocacy materials.

  • Ensure quality assurance for personal work output.
  • Maintain accurate timesheets daily.
  • Exhibit a willingness to travel as required.
  • Support project tasks for clients alongside Account Managers and Directors.
  • Demonstrate initiative and proactivity.
  • Deliver high-quality work while adhering to budget and timeline constraints.
  • Adapt to the unique styles and needs of clients.
  • Facilitate and support client meetings and teleconferences.
  • Take comprehensive notes during client interactions.
  • Develop an understanding of client needs and challenges to propose effective solutions.
  • Build and sustain positive working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Prepare weekly status updates for clients to communicate project progress.
  • Understand the fundamentals of project budgeting.
  • Conduct research to enhance the level of expertise provided to clients.
  • Manage project delivery and client interactions while seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Assist in proposal development by gaining insights into the new business process.
  • Show genuine interest in clients to foster future relationships.
  • Participate in face-to-face client meetings and new business presentations with team support.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in a relevant field (preferably life sciences).
  • High levels of motivation, initiative, and drive.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities.
  • Familiarity with industry guidelines and best practices.
  • Experience in a Medical or Healthcare Communications agency is preferred.
