Job Title: EMEA Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled EMEA Procurement Manager to join our team at Axalta. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement strategy for Pigments commodities within Axalta.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for Pigments commodities
  • Manage direct material spend of $100+ MM
  • Achieve Y-o-Y cost savings and Variable Margin Improvement
  • Evaluate current purchasing approaches and propose improvements
  • Lead external pigment procurement to ensure quality on-time delivery of materials and services
  • Perform market analysis, benchmark analysis, and develop "should cost" models
  • Manage supplier relationships and contract negotiations
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree, Master's degree a plus
  • 8-10 years of total Procurement experience, including 5 years of strategic category management experience
  • Relative experience in pigments, understanding of the global supply base, and procurement experience in pigments a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • System experience, Sales Force, Ariba, and SAP required
