Trainee Field Service Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Field Service Engineer. As a Trainee Field Service Engineer, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in mechanical engineering and customer care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide highly proficient customer care to EBM Managed Services staff, customers, and visitors.
  • Interact with customers both on the phone and face to face.
  • Undertake training and engage in mentoring and coaching programmes to increase your ability, performance, and earning potential.
  • Carry out 1st line technical triage for engineering and IT defect calls.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and an organised clean van.
  • Assemble and pre-delivery inspect equipment.
  • Deliver and install equipment.
  • Attend EBM head office or customer sites by 8:30am.
  • Keep our monitoring software up to date and accurate at all times.
  • Carry out project work.
  • Monitor personal progression, achieving, and exceeding set goals and targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Follow customer care processes and ways of working.
  • Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions.
  • Undertake product training and keep up to date with latest releases.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable interest in technical/mechanical fault finding.
  • Strong Customer Care skills.
  • Full clean driving licence (held for 3 years minimum).
  • Ability to commute or relocate to Essex.
