Job Title: Finance Officer

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Officer to join our busy team at Lincolnshire And District Medical Services (LADMS). As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial transactions, budgeting, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate transaction records and reconcile banking
  • Review and approve invoices, timesheets, and prepare financial statements
  • Conduct financial audits and prepare budgets
  • Review and ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws
  • Manage payroll production and be a point of contact for various stakeholders
  • Filing for accountants, including tax returns, companies house, HMRC, and end-of-year financial reports

Requirements:
  • Maths and problem-solving skills
  • Project management skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Solid knowledge of accounting and financial procedures
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and laws
  • Proven work experience as a Finance Officer or similar role
  • Experience using financial software such as Xero
