We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Officer to join our team at Lincolnshire And District Medical Services (LADMS). As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including transaction records, invoices, and financial statements.
- Review and approve invoices, timesheets, and financial reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and laws.
- Reconcile banking and conduct financial audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing financial data to inform business decisions.
- Review and implement financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage payroll production, ensuring timely and accurate payment of employees.
- Provide financial guidance and support to senior management, stakeholders, and employees.
- Filing for accountants, including tax returns, companies house, HMRC, and end-of-year financial reports.
- Maths and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and laws.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with experience using financial software such as Xero.
- Proven work experience as a Finance Officer or similar role, with a strong track record of financial management and analysis.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong ethics, with the ability to manage confidential data and maintain confidentiality.
- A Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Studies, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Professional qualification as a CFA/CPA, or equivalent experience.
