About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Supply Chain Planner to join our Procurement team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyse supplier spend for all areas of the business using our finance systems.
  • Coordinate procurement requests, ensuring these are logged and tracked to completion, and due diligence is undertaken in line with our policy.
  • Create and maintain procurement reports, dashboards, and supplier landscapes.
  • Coordinate the management of SB's contracts by maintaining the contract database.
  • Identify opportunities to drive value and optimise our supplier base.
  • Assist with supplier engagement activities such as negotiating with suppliers.
Requirements
  • Confident in working with a large number of stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Able to prioritise a sometimes significant workload.
  • Not afraid to challenge our suppliers.
