Job Title: Branded Medical Supply Chain Planner

We are seeking a skilled Branded Medical Supply Chain Planner to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a key member of our Procurement and Supply Chain function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain processes.

Job Summary:

The Branded Medical Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for managing the procurement and supply chain activities for our medical products. This includes setting up suppliers on our procurement systems, approving purchase requests, conducting supplier due diligence, and ensuring the accuracy and up-to-date status of our supplier database.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setup and manage suppliers on our procurement systems (Ariba, SAP)
  • Approve purchase requests for defined categories
  • Perform supplier due diligence, including credit checks and risk assessments
  • Ensure the accuracy and up-to-date status of our supplier database
  • Cleanse data regularly and deactivate suppliers with no spend for 18 months
  • Manage supply risk by conducting regular vendor checks and using the VRM portal
  • Review vendor management data quality and implement corrective actions with the Accounting team
  • Regularly review the supplier base to prevent duplications
  • Support Ariba/SAP data integration quality
  • Manage the SOW in Fieldglass and drive No PO - No Pay Compliance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a relevant field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage risk and prioritize work
  • Procurement procedures and knowledge
  • Vendor performance management and relationship management skills
