Job Title: Director of Quality Assurance

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Quality Assurance to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement quality assurance strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  2. Lead a team of quality assurance professionals to conduct audits, inspections, and investigations to identify and mitigate quality risks.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  4. Develop and maintain quality procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Provide training and coaching to quality assurance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as chemistry, biology, or engineering.
  2. At least 10 years of experience in quality assurance, with a strong background in regulatory compliance.
  3. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate quality risks.
  5. Knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, and regulatory requirements, such as FDA and EU GMP.
