Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Medical Clearance team at Healix in Esher. The team is responsible for providing healthcare support to overseas-based government employees, and this role will focus on the non-medical aspects of the clearance process.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well in a team, and have a high level of attention to detail. They will be responsible for managing the clearance process from initial inquiry to completion, working closely with the line manager, operations managers, and other team members as needed.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the non-medical aspects of the One HMG medical clearance applications, including initial inquiry to completion.
  • Stay up-to-date on all aspects of clearances, including hub functionality, location-specific requirements, and warning notifications.
  • Liaise with team members and external stakeholders to obtain and maintain key information, identifying gaps and seeking answers.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records to ensure clearances are handled in line with KPIs.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to telephone queries and making accurate notes in case files.
  • Be a role model for other team members, leading by example and demonstrating a positive approach to problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and take responsibility for non-medical aspects of clearance.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and escalate issues to managers for early resolution.
  • Adaptability to changing work demands and ability to review data to inform process improvements.
  • Experience in handling medical clearances and one year post-probation experience in overseas healthcare assistance.
