We are seeking an experienced Client Manager to join our team at ProTalent. As a trusted advisor to our clients, you will be responsible for managing relationships, providing high-quality advisory and compliance services, and delivering insights and solutions that help our clients grow their businesses.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as their main point of contact for all accounting and tax matters.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns.
- Provide business advisory services, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Oversee VAT returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, reviewing their work, and supporting their professional development.
- Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing proactive advice.
- Liaise with HMRC and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients where necessary.
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with at least 4 years post-qualification experience in an accountancy practice.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality service.
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and management accounts.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to clients.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.
