This pivotal role is responsible for managing and delivering our IT strategy, including Service Management, Service Delivery, Technical Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Data and Information Security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the operational excellence of all systems and infrastructure, maintaining high availability and reliability.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a small IT team, complemented by external partners, to drive technical innovation and excellence.
  • IT Strategy: Implement IT strategies aligned with industry best practices, supported by KPIs and SLAs, to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Vendor Management: Develop strategic relationships with vendors to optimize technology use and cost-efficiency, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Security and Compliance: Oversee the security strategy for Azure infrastructure, including regular security testing, to ensure compliance with data governance and regulations across all geographies.
  • Crisis Management: Lead crisis and incident communications, maintaining service levels during disruptions, and ensure business continuity.
  • Business Alignment: Collaborate with business stakeholders to align IT services with business needs, driving technical innovation and excellence.
  • Technical Operations: Plan and execute a Technical Operations strategy that supports future business growth, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Security Transformation: Sponsor and implement a Security transformation program across the organization, driving technical innovation and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: A proven leader with experience in managing infrastructure and systems teams in a 24/7 high-availability environment.
  • Cloud Expertise: Strong background in managing cloud-based Azure platforms, with a focus on speed, reliability, security, and compliance.
  • Vendor Management: Experience in vendor management and ensuring technology solutions meet business needs.
  • Incident Management: Solid track record in incident management and business continuity.
  • Security Knowledge: Knowledge of security best practices, ideally within an ISO 27001 environment.
  • ITIL Accreditation: ITIL accreditation or similar qualifications preferred.
