Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled/Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining all TGW products and third-party equipment, ensuring they operate at maximum efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:- Support Site Performance: Contribute to strategies and support all continuous improvement activities that underpin site performance.
- Electrical and Mechanical Fault Finding: Identify and rectify electrical and mechanical faults in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform reactive and preventative maintenance of TGW and third-party products installed on site.
- Automation Optimization: Support the automation to operate at its maximum efficiency, ensuring that customers' orders are not missed.
- Customer Communication: Attend customer meetings and provide updates on the automation.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest continuous improvement activities that will increase the reliability of TGW and third-party assets on site.
- Root Cause Analysis: Actively seek root cause when remedying any breakdowns on TGW supplied equipment and software.
- Planned Maintenance: Coordinate planned preventive maintenance activities with the customer.
- Training and Development: Mentor, train, and advise at all levels on engineering practices.
- Breakdown Coordination: Coordinate any automation breakdowns and escalations.
- Health and Safety: Comply with all current and future health and safety legislation at all times.
- Qualifications: Minimum NVQ level 3/BTEC ONC/HNC Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or completion of TGW Modules 1 & 2 for internal candidates.
- Experience: Previous experience of working in an operational engineering role within a similar environment.
- Communication Skills: Proficient communication skills and customer-focused.
- Time Management: Ability to work in a time-critical environment.
- Flexibility: Able to work flexible shift patterns.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve problems.
- Technical Skills: Experience of working with Warehouse Management Systems.
