Job Opportunity for MEP Planning Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced MEP Planning Manager to join our team at a leading tier one main contractor on a high-value data centre project in north west London.

The project involves transitioning from construction to fit-out, MEP installation, commissioning, and handover. We are seeking a skilled MEP planner who can add significant value to the project team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.
  • Review schematics and gain understanding of the MEP installation and commissioning strategy.
  • Understand major project milestones and agree with the lead project planner.
  • Be an advanced user of Asta and have a working knowledge of other planning software such as MS project and P6.
  • Have experience of projects with heavy MEP and commissioning elements, such as those in the technology or manufacturing sectors.
  • Possess detailed knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and commissioning, including installation techniques, best practice, and single system commissioning requirements.
  • Be able to assist in value engineering and C2P project strategy and demonstrating programme benefits.
