Senior Facultative Reinsurance Technician

This is an exciting opportunity to join AXIS Capital, a leading global provider of specialty lines insurance and reinsurance. As a Senior Facultative Reinsurance Technician, you will play a key role in delivering strategic and forward-looking solutions to drive the company's growth and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide operational and reporting support for global facultative reinsurance activities, including ceded premiums, losses, settlements, and accounting.
- Review and interpret facultative certificates to ensure compliance with reinsurance contracts and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate ceded premium month-end close process, including review and validation of reinsurance transactions with AXIS offshore partner.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external clients to ensure accurate communication and timely response to inquiries.
- Assist with oversight and training of offshore partner, as well as cash administration, including GL postings and reconciliations.
- Support departmental compliance with operational controls, including SOX controls.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Range of 4-7 years' experience in reinsurance operations.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products applications, including Excel.
- Advanced Excel knowledge required.
