Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at East Kent Mencap. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care for individuals with learning disabilities, promoting independence and helping them lead fulfilling lives in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to vulnerable individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement personalized support plans.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • A Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience.
