About the Role

Cobalt Recruitment is partnering with a Tier 1 Global Contractor to deliver a high-profile project in the transportation sector. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of a £30m Interchange project in Dudley, which will enhance the town's connectivity and improve access to jobs and leisure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management
    • Develop and implement project plans to achieve milestones and deliver the project on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
    • Manage and coordinate the project team, including designers, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Resource Management
    • Recruit and manage a team of professionals to deliver the project.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
  • Information Management
    • Oversee the development of project schedules, budgets, and quality plans.
    • Disseminate relevant information to stakeholders, including project updates, progress reports, and issue notifications.
  • Production Oversight
    • Procure materials, equipment, and subcontractors to meet project goals.
    • Ensure high-quality standards are met and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Client and Stakeholder Liaison
    • Manage client and end-user expectations, address queries, and resolve complaints.
    • Build long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders for future opportunities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the transportation sector.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
