As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. This includes operating radiographic equipment, processing and evaluating images, and preparing them for interpretation by radiologists and surgeons.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, including the integrated computer system and corresponding hardware.
  2. Process and evaluate radiographs, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
  3. Prepare radiographs for final interpretation, including programming and contrast injection.
  4. Assist radiologists with procedures, such as film programming and contrast injection.
  5. Position patients to obtain the best possible views of affected areas.
  6. Greet and reassure patients, explaining exams in a clear and concise manner.
  7. Respond to after-hour call backs on an emergency basis.
  8. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

An Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology and a minimum of one year's job-related experience or equivalent is required. CPR certification is also necessary. Registration from the ARRT is required for this position.
