Electronics Integration Specialist

MoneyGram Haas F1 Team is a unique organization that thrives on innovation and excellence. As an Electronics Integration Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team that pushes the boundaries of what's possible in the world of Formula 1.

Located in Banbury, UK, this role is responsible for supporting the electrical and electronics integration of new car projects. You will work closely with the electronics design engineers and mechanical design engineers to develop robust, lightweight, composite material and metallic mounting systems and enclosures for the electronic and electrical installation of the Haas F1 car.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electronic and electrical systems for the Haas F1 car, including electronics enclosures, mounting systems, and wiring harnesses.
  • Collaborate with the FE department to achieve quality, compliance, strength, and weight targets for all components.
  • Design mechanical solutions for off-car assets and rigs, including pit lane and test equipment.
  • Ensure all safety regulations are followed in all venues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Previous experience in component design using metallic and composite materials.
  • Experience working with FE to optimize designs for weight and strength requirements.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
