Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Bristol. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work in a 1-2-1 support role with a student who has various Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) requirements.

About the Role:

  • Work in a 1-2-1 support role with a student who has various SEND requirements.
  • Establish trust and build strong relationships with the child to help them succeed academically and emotionally.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to provide regular feedback on the child's progress and learning.
  • Utilize knowledge of different strategies and techniques to support children with SEND, such as visual aids or sensory activities.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEND in a 1-2-1 or small group setting.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers and parents.
  • Knowledge of different strategies and techniques to support children with SEND.
