Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a primary resource for internal stakeholders, providing expert guidance on compliance with onboarding protocols and internal policies.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence investigations and assessments on clients and associated parties, ensuring compliance with pertinent legal and regulatory frameworks, including KYC and KYB evaluations, sanctions, and adverse media scrutiny.
  • Prepare comprehensive Client Risk Assessments and CDD documentation for review, actively supporting fee earners throughout the risk assessment process.
  • Perform ongoing monitoring of existing clients, promptly escalating any significant changes in risk ratings to the Team Leader.
  • Maintain meticulous records of decisions and analyses, ensuring all documentation is accurately filed within internal systems.
Qualifications
  • In-depth understanding of SRA Standards and Regulations concerning conflicts, client due diligence, and anti-money laundering (AML) legislation.
  • Proven experience in executing due diligence checks and conflict searches within a legal environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen ability to identify and evaluate potential risks and conflicts.
  • Solid comprehension of the regulatory landscape in which the firm operates.
