We are in search of a skilled, innovative, and strategic Lottery and Promotions Lead to enhance our Fundraising and Lottery team. This role is essential in generating funds that help us fulfill our mission of providing compassionate care. This position offers a unique chance to significantly influence the lives of individuals we support throughout Lincolnshire.

Role Responsibilities:

This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in our Fundraising and Lottery team. As the Lottery and Promotions Lead, your responsibilities will include:

  • Advocating and promoting Lottery and Promotions products within the organization and throughout the Lincolnshire community to support the Charity's overarching Organizational and Income Generation Strategies aimed at driving growth.
  • Identifying and capitalizing on business development opportunities to promote the Hospice Lottery across Lincolnshire.
  • Enhancing sales of Lottery and Promotions products, including lottery memberships and raffles.
  • Understanding supporter motivations and customizing Lottery and Promotions activities to meet their needs.
  • Managing an income target of approximately £700,000 across Lottery and Promotions products.
  • Serving as the primary contact for Lottery and Promotions advice, guidance, and support to ensure activities are delivered to the highest standards, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with Gambling and Charity legislation, including the Gambling Act 2005, GDPR, Fundraising Code of Practice, and Gambling Commission regulations.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

We welcome applications from candidates who ideally possess a degree or equivalent qualification and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Fundraising or Business Development, with knowledge of Gambling Commission requirements and a proven track record of meeting targets.

  • A strategic mindset with a strong background in business development and campaign management.
  • Proven experience in leading successful Lottery and Promotions initiatives.
  • The ability to advocate and promote Lottery and Promotions products within the organization and the wider Lincolnshire community.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • The ability to analyze the market, identifying opportunities and supporter motivations to tailor approaches effectively.
  • A focus on ongoing donor stewardship, fostering strong and lasting relationships with supporters.
  • A commitment to the vision, values, and behaviors of St Barnabas.

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £29,802, with a contributory pension scheme or continuation of NHS pension.
