Financial Controller

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a growing, owner-managed business based in East Yorkshire as a Part-time Financial Controller. You will be a hands-on accountant and will work closely with the Managing Director to help shape the growth of the business and provide valuable support.
Key Responsibilities:- Production of monthly management accounts
- Running the monthly payroll
- Cashflow forecasting
- Bank reconciliations
- Overseeing the office management and admin
- Working with the MD to build budgets and forecasts
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- CIMA, ACCA, or ACA (ICAEW) qualification or QBE qualified by equivalent experience
- A proactive and practical "can do" attitude
- Ability to set own deadlines and work without supervision
- Good team player who is keen to be involved with the wider business
- Strong systems knowledge including Xero and Excel
We are keen to hear from you if you are a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Head of Finance, or Senior Management Accountant who is CIMA / ACCA / ACA / ICAEW qualified or QBE and looking for your next challenge on a part-time basis. Alternatively, you may be looking for that first step into industry from an accountancy practice role.
This role is easily commutable by car from Beverley, Hornsea, Bridlington, Driffield, Hull, and surrounding areas.
