Part-time Financial Controller Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a growing, owner-managed business based in Beverley, East Yorkshire as a Part-time Financial Controller. You will be a hands-on accountant and will work closely with the Managing Director to help shape the growth of the business and provide valuable support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Production of monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial information for business decision-making.
  • Payroll Management: Running the monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Cashflow Forecasting: Developing and maintaining cashflow forecasts to inform business strategy and mitigate financial risks.
  • Financial Administration: Overseeing the office management and admin, ensuring efficient and effective financial operations.
  • Financial Planning: Working with the MD to build budgets and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.
Requirements:
  • CIMA, ACCA, or ACA (ICAEW) qualification or QBE qualified by equivalent experience.
  • A proactive and practical "can do" attitude, with the ability to set own deadlines and work without supervision.
  • Strong systems knowledge, including Xero and Excel, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-time Financial Controller to join our team. If you are a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Head of Finance, or Senior Management Accountant looking for your next challenge on a part-time basis, we would love to hear from you.

This role is easily commutable by car from Beverley, Hornsea, Bridlington, Driffield, Hull, and surrounding areas.
