At Home Instead Senior Care, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carer/Support Worker to join our team. As a Carer/Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and companionship to our elderly clients in the Welwyn & Hatfield area.

About the Role:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on the lives of our clients. As a Carer/Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing non-medical care and companionship to our clients in their own homes
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Preparing meals and snacks, and assisting with light housekeeping
  • Accompanying clients on outings and providing social support
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in client condition to our office team
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a car
  • Happy to work agreed hours on alternative Saturdays & Sundays
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A caring and compassionate approach to working with older adults
