Job Title: Support Worker
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Home Instead. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Offer companionship and social interaction to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
- Assist clients with light housework and domestic duties, ensuring their living environment remains safe and comfortable.
- Transport clients to appointments, social events, and other activities, using your own vehicle.
- Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring each client receives the best possible support.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence and own car.
- Reside in our franchise region covering Hatfield, WGC, Potters Bar, Borehamwood, and surrounding villages and areas.
- Right to work in the UK.
Benefits:
- All roles are part-time, with flexible start and end times and days worked.
- Basic pay rates of £12.00+ per hour, averaging over £14.00 with benefits.
- £0.30 per mile travel, £0.45 per mile when travelling with or for a client.
- £12.00 per hour paid during travel between clients (restrictions apply).
- Continuous PAID Professional Development, with award-winning training.
- Minimum 1-hour visits, with no short visits when you join us.
- Paid Holiday and Pension Contributions.
