POSITION OVERVIEW
Job Title - Mechanical Design Engineer in Building Services
Responsible to - Project Director

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in transforming our clients' visions into reality by developing mechanical design models and technical drawings.

This position offers you the freedom to design mechanical systems across various sectors, engaging directly with clients and representing their interests at all levels.

You will collaborate closely with architects, quantity surveyors, project managers, and structural engineers from external design teams.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in building services engineering
- Proficiency in design software tools such as REVIT, with exposure to MagiCAD being advantageous
- Strong communication skills, adaptable to working with external stakeholders and clients while integrating with our team
- Comprehensive understanding of project requirements and the ability to oversee their complete delivery
- Recognized qualifications in mechanical services design, with a desire to pursue chartered status
- Comfortable working independently or collaboratively to support project delivery
- Experience in team management is a plus
- Willingness to travel and collaborate with colleagues across various locations
