About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Nottingham. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing mechanical services for a wide range of projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical services for building projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Collaborate with architects, quantity surveyors, project managers, and structural engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in mechanical design and engineering
  • Contribute to the development of innovative and sustainable design solutions

Requirements

  • Relevant degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency in design software tools such as Revit and MagiCAD
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Recognized qualifications in mechanical services design and a commitment to chartered status
