About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Specification Sales Manager to join our team at CPJ Recruitment. As a Specification Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling a full range of manufactured high-quality commercial interiors to specifiers, architects, and interior designers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generating specifications with specifiers, architects, and interior designers (A&D) to drive sales growth.
  • Managing and selling directly to fit-out contractors and flooring contractors to meet sales targets.
  • Utilizing Glenigan leads, in-house CRM database, and telesales leads to identify new business opportunities.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of selling into the architects or interior designers (A&D) specification marketplace.
  • Experience in selling a range of interior products, including contract furniture, lighting, wall coverings, fabric, ceiling, partitioning, and furniture.
  • Ability to promote new products ideally suited to specification selling.
  • Contractor field sales experience is also desirable.
  • Prior experience of selling into office blocks, education sector, hospitality & leisure, high-rise residential, and healthcare may be advantageous.
