Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the intake and allocation of fresh produce to ensure effective product allocations
- Work closely with the commercial and buying teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement stock management strategies to minimize rejections and collections
- Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure seamless operations
- Conduct product quality assessments and reporting to ensure a consistent and efficient approach to reducing complaints and rejections
Requirements:
- Experience in the fresh produce sector with a focus on quality control and technical standards
- Knowledge of technical standards and product quality expected by retail customers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel to sites across the UK
- Drive, passion, and dedication to success in this position
