Integrated Service Solutions Ltd (ISS) is an innovative service provider operating primarily within the Fresh Produce sector in the UK.  We operate independently, with the opportunity to draw on the expertise and network of the Terradace Group of which we are part.

Since inception in 2014, ISS has experienced phenomenal growth. With annual revenues in excess of £60 million, and having established a strong market position, we now employ over 1,000 people operating across three sites across Kent: a 120,000 sq.ft site at Teynham the primary site for the business, a 74,000 sq.ft site at Linton added in 2020 and a 130,000 sq ft site in Sittingbourne acquired in 2022.

We are now looking for a **Packaging Operative **to join us at our Teynham site.

**Role Summary**:
To control, verify, print, issue and record labels for production, ensuring the information is accurate in accordance with customer specifications.

To control and issue all packaging for production in accordance with the specification and within the required time for production requirements.

Maintain appropriate quantities of current stock levels within the packaging issue area.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Control the data entry, correct input parameters and verification of labels.
- Control the printing, production and issue of labels in accordance with up to date specifications and technical standards.
- Produce and maintain clear administrative records regarding the printing, traceability and issuing of labels.
- Ensure that the printers and scanners are maintained and available at all times.
- Continuously look for ways to improve the business processes of the packaging issue area, and report them to the Packaging Supervisor or Manager.
- Issue correct packaging per job requirements.
- Record all packaging movements in and out of the issue area.
- Ensure all packaging is covered and has traceability labels.
- Maintain high levels of Health, Safety, Hygiene, housekeeping and contamination practices and standards in your work area.
- Adhere to all relevant customer, industry and legislative standards i.e. British Retail Consortium (BRC), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)
- Communicate effectively with production and report any non-conformances to a Manager.

**Salary**: £25,846.00 per year
