We are in search of empathetic and reliable Care Assistants who are committed to providing exceptional one-on-one care for our client, fostering positive relationships with them and their family while empowering them to maintain as much independence as possible in their home environment.

Please be aware that you will be providing care for one individual in their residence, rather than multiple clients.

Our client is a young man in his 20s who enjoys life and lives with his supportive family. He requires assistance throughout the day on a one-to-one basis.

He is very sociable, has a zest for life, and enjoys staying active. He has a busy schedule filled with activities and is always eager for care staff to help him discover new opportunities to engage with the community.

Key Responsibilities

Our client loves watching football and is a supporter of Wolverhampton Wanderers. He has previously attended matches at Molineux and would love to do so again. As part of his dedicated care team, you will play a significant role in making this happen.

You will assist him in enjoying his hobbies and interests, as well as participating in social activities, while also addressing his care needs, which may include personal care and mobility support when necessary.

Our ideal team will empower our client to live as independently and fulfillingly as possible. Key qualities for this role include confidence, patience, and understanding.

We are looking for individuals who are comfortable around pets, as there is a cat in the household.

It is essential for candidates to have held a driving license for over three years.

Our client has specifically requested female staff to join their care team.

Job Responsibilities

The role of a Care Assistant is to work independently in the home of the client, providing care and support, including personal, social, and domestic assistance while adhering to the individual care and support plan.

The goal of this position is to enable clients to remain safely in their own homes with as much independence as possible.

Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and compassionate manner, it is crucial to always respect the client's right to privacy and dignity.

Required Experience

Essential

  • Minimum of 3 months prior care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Driving License (held for at least 3 years)

Desirable

  • Experience with Autism
  • Awareness of Cerebral Palsy
