**Job Title:** Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Assystem. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality assurance support to client projects, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement quality management systems, including quality plans, procedures, and training programs.
  • Conduct design reviews, audits, and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate quality risks.
  • Develop and maintain quality records, including quality metrics and reports.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members on quality-related matters.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in the nuclear or heavily regulated sector.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and ASME standards.
  • Experience with design review, audit, and inspection processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in French or other languages an asset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
  • Practitioner Grade Member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) or equivalent engineering institute.
  • Formally recognized qualification in Quality, such as CQI or equivalent.
  • Internationally recognized NDT qualifications in Radiography.
