We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Housing Consultant to join our team at Carriera Limited. As a Junior Principal Designer/CDM Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional services to our clients in the housing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Housing Association and Local Authority clients to deliver Principal Designer services for residential properties, including high-rise buildings.
- Identify and manage design-related risks, ensuring the highest level of safety and quality.
- Communicate effectively with contractors, designers, and clients through Design Team Meetings and Risk Workshops.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the pre-construction phase of projects, providing essential information to contractors to manage health and safety throughout the construction phase.
- Conduct interim Health & Safety inspections and review site records, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Review Contractor's Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan, providing expert feedback and recommendations.
- Pursue a professional qualification in designing, building surveying, or building services, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
- Commit to continual professional development (CPD), staying up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations.
Requirements:

- NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety is preferred.
