Job Summary:We are looking for a capable Health and Safety Advisor to support our client's expanding workload. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site visits, inspections, audits, and risk assessments. They will also be required to write internal health and safety policies and strategies, plan and provide health and safety training courses, and investigate and record incidents, accidents, and complaints.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct site visits, inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Write internal health and safety policies and strategies to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Plan and provide health and safety training courses to employees to enhance their knowledge and skills.
- Investigate and record incidents, accidents, and complaints to identify areas for improvement.
- Plan safe working practices and make necessary changes to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Write reports and compile statistics to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- A recognized Health and Safety Qualification.
- Construction experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of ISO 45001 standards.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- IT literate and capable of acquiring and applying thorough regulatory information.
Our client offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a pension scheme. The successful candidate will work Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
