Position Overview:

In this role, you will be a key member of the team tasked with the upkeep of our client's store properties. Reporting directly to the Regional Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing maintenance across multiple locations.

  • Perform maintenance and repair duties on all sanitary fixtures
  • Conduct general plumbing tasks
  • Ensure functionality of all drainage systems at the store locations

You will work autonomously, adhering to established standards while ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness in your operations, all while complying with the Company's Health and Safety regulations. You should be adept at prioritizing your workload and meeting deadlines.

  • Organize maintenance and repair tasks to meet specified timelines
  • Procure necessary parts and materials as required
  • Remove blockages and debris from drainage systems
  • Utilize jetting techniques for downpipes and surface water systems
  • Maintain cleanliness of gutters and drainpipes
  • Provide recommendations for equipment that cannot be repaired
  • Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines
  • Complete required online training to maintain compliance

Client Engagement:

  • Respond efficiently to service requests
  • Evaluate job needs and perform necessary repairs

Essential Qualifications:

Experience in Plumbing or Drainage is crucial. Candidates should possess either an NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating systems/Drainage or an equivalent qualification, or a City and Guilds certification in Plumbing or Drainage from a recognized apprenticeship.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in confined spaces
  • Proficiency in water jetting techniques
