Job Summary

Taylor & Francis Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for leading a team of accounting professionals and providing financial reporting and analysis to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of accounting professionals to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis
  • Develop and implement financial reporting and analysis processes to support business decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data is accurate and reliable
  • Provide financial guidance and support to business leaders to inform strategic decisions
  • Manage financial systems and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience of leading an R2R team within a large R2R function
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of all R2R processes including best practice in R2R, people, processes and technology
  • Sound working knowledge and understanding of SSO processes and how these fit into the wider environment
  • Confident in how to lead and guide a team through challenging periods
  • Be able to manage competing priorities and achieving deadlines, whilst delivering a high standard of work and supporting the team as and when needed
  • Solid at building relationships with stakeholders within and outside of the organisation
  • Evidence of making decisions at the right time based on the information available
  • Strong people manager who actively engages and embraces talent management conversations
  • Good presentation skills
