About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Open Data Technical Lead to join our team at the Parliamentary Digital Service. As a key member of our Data and Search team, you will be responsible for underpinning good development processes, managing tools and testing environments, and transforming technical requirements into DevOps processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain API management solutions using Azure API Management.
  • Create, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing of applications.
  • Enhance and streamline Azure DevOps processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Define and maintain YAML files for builds and releases in Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Develop and deepen understanding of the technical architecture of products and services within the team, documenting and sharing this knowledge appropriately.
Requirements
  • Experience designing solutions and services with security controls embedded, specifically engineered with mitigation of security threats as a core feature.
  • Able to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences and can work as part of a team whilst upholding the values of inclusion and diversity.
  • The ability to pass security clearance, backed by the right to work in the UK.
