About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Animator to join our team at NaturalMotion, a leading game development studio. As a Senior Animator, you will be responsible for creating high-quality character animations for our upcoming game, Star Wars: Hunters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement character animations that meet the project's vision and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the animation team to ensure consistency and quality across all animations.
  • Work closely with the art and design teams to ensure animations align with the game's overall aesthetic and gameplay.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of animation principles, human and animal body mechanics, and anatomy.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in animation and game development.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience working as a Senior 3D Animator in game development.
  • Strong proficiency with Maya and experience with animation game implementation.
  • Well-versed in cleaning up and working with motion capture data.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
