Position Overview

The role involves serving as a Clinical Nurse Specialist within a variety of Acute Medical Wards and Community Hospitals. The individual in this position will be tasked with executing a range of responsibilities that include both direct and indirect patient care, adhering to established protocols.

The Clinical Nurse Specialist will:

  • Manage a designated group of patients and may occasionally oversee the ward or department along with its resources during their shift.
  • Uphold high standards of patient care and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to junior nursing staff.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records regarding patient conditions, in line with professional standards and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Specialists, including Doctors, Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists, to address individual patient needs and care plans.
