Job Title: IT Technician

Operations Resources is seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team as a Field Service Engineer. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients across the Teesside area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform field service calls to troubleshoot and repair IT and EPOS equipment in client stores
  • Provide training on EPOS hardware to ensure seamless integration and operation
  • Work 5 days out of 7, including Saturdays and Sundays, with 1 in 2 Saturdays and 1 in 3 Sundays
  • Adhere to standard hours of 30 hours per week, with overtime paid outside of this
  • Participate in on-call rotation, working 12:00-20:00 and handling emergency calls
What We Offer:
  • A competitive package including a basic salary of £23,800, shift/rotation on-call payments of around £2,000 per annum, and overtime paid at 1.5x Mon-Sat and 2x Sunday and bank holidays
  • A fully expensed company van for personal use, pension, paid holiday, and private medical insurance
  • A 40-hour per week full-time PAYE contract with opportunities for additional hours and overtime
Requirements:
  • Full manual driver's license
  • Confidence in PC hardware and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
