Job Title: Learning Disability Support Worker
About the Role:
Home Instead Westminster is seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Worker to join our team. As a Learning Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients, promoting their independence, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate community engagement and participation, ensuring our clients are actively involved in their communities.
- Assist with meal preparation, promoting client participation and healthy eating habits.
- Support individuals with household tasks and upkeep, maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Administer medication, following established protocols and procedures.
- Accompany individuals on outings and activities, promoting social interaction and enjoyment.
- Coordinate and attend medical appointments, ensuring clients receive necessary care and support.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, sharing knowledge and expertise to deliver exceptional care.
